Austria- Chasing the Hidden Paradise 1 (Innsbruck)

When you say Austria, everyone thinks of Vienna. Of course, who wouldn't?  Austria's Capital City, Vienna is full of charm, history and elegance, impressing buildings and landmarks.

But for me, the real freedom is hidden into the mountains. The largest part of the country is occupied by the relatively young part of the Alps and the highest mountain is the Grossglockner (3797 m).

Our first stop was in "The Capital of the Alps"- Innsbruck, a small city in Tyrol land. The name means "bridge over the Inn"-Inn representing the river that flows through the city.

The picture says it all. A beautiful and pittoresque city surrounded by huge mountains and full of colorful buildings. But there is more. There is no suitable way to describe the unique feeling this place gives you. The Nature. The Tourists wandering all around. The fresh air. The locals.

The first place not to be missed is the Old Town. As you stroll along the main street you will feel like you have travelled back in time. You should stop at the Golden Roof - and this one is impossible to be missed because of the big crowd taking pictures:)

Hofgarten Innsbruck- great place to relax
